Q. How much security deposit do I need?

A. Security Deposit is 2 times one months rent not exceed $1,600 for apartments or $1,800 for single family homes.

Q. Will I run out of heating oil this winter?

A. No. All of our buildings are on automatic delivery with R.H. Foster Fuels.

Q. Do you accept Section 8 housing vouchers?

A. Yes. All units should meet Section 8 housing requirements.

Q. Do you allow pets?

A. Currently dogs are not allowed due to insurance restrictions. Other pets are allowed with written permission.

Q. How quickly do you fix things that are broken?

A. Very quickly. Please note we are at the mercy of various contractors’ time restraints.

Q. Will I get my deposit back?

A. I am pretty liberal when it comes to returning deposits. They will be returned in accordance with State law.

Q. Are you an absentee landlord?

A. No. I live in Old Town within a 3-5 minute drive of all the apartments.

Q. Do you allow sub-letting?

Yes. However I take it on a case by case basis.

Q. How do I set up electricity in my name?

A. Call Bangor Hydro Electric at (207) 947-2414 several days or a week before occupancy date. Provide Bangor Hydro with meter number which can be found on the apartment detail section of this website.
