Derek King is a full time real estate professional who bought his first building in 1993. Derek takes pride in maintaining safe and affordable housing. He is a licensed real estate broker with Prudential Northeast Properties and a mortgage loan officer with Sun Mortgage.
Past related real estate experience includes Fleet Mortgage, CUSO Mortgage, Champion International – Recreational leasing department and working for various real estate developers in the 1980’s. Derek's love and passion for real estate is exemplified by his "pride of ownership” as reflected in his properties. His treatment of tenants and commitment to doing a good job is an asset to the local community.
Other passions of Derek include socializing with friends and family and traveling, especially to the great northern tundra of Canada. Derek has canoed, hiked, fished and hunted in the rugged north of The Yukon, Northwest Territories, The Artic Circle, northern Quebec, Labrador and Newfoundland.
